A twist of Galera

Summer wont be complete without partying at the beach, If Boracay is a little bit expensive for you and you're problem is your budget for this summer, well good news because you can still party at the beach even you're on a tight budget!

Option 2, White Beach, Pueto Galera!

It is almost like a tradition with my friends that we go to galera every summer, most specially during holy week. We always make sure to  include it on our list every time summer is coming. Summer wont be complete without Galera BABY!

A 3 hours bus ride, 1 hr boat ride and then tadaaaa! Fresh breeze, waves, clear water, water sports activity, ladies on bikinis, hot guys on trunks, night life at the beach, almost like Boracay!

What you see in Bora is what you can also see in Galera. You can visit five different island and they also have some atv cars where you can rent and drive going to Tamarraw falls if you want more water adventure and experience some adrenalin rush in the woods. You can also play beach volleyball and some Frisbee if you wanna feel like to be sporty at the beach.

Well, If you get tired after trying all those activities that they have, theres a line of food channels available for your stomach, from grilled, seafoods, american food even pizza, and a lot more, at a very affordable prize.  With 100 pesos you can already have a complete meal and it can be partnered with some unlimited serve of rice or an unlimited service of ice tea. They also have some fresh fruit shakes and juice stalls if you feel like your throat is a little dry because of the heat of the summer.

At night you can party 'till dawn, from beer to tequila, brandy and the famous "MINDORO SLING" can give you a hit and a strong kick if you really want to party hard and reward yourself from working hard (you truly deserved it)! Just make sure you are with someone who can carry you over to your room before you get hammer if you don't want to end up sleeping on the shore and get a sand-burn nightmare when you wake up in the morning.

After you party and before saying goodbye to your "beachy life", you can drop by first into some store and buy some pasalubong to your friends and officemates. They've got a lot of things to choose from, accessories like friendship bond, wooden bracelets, some pearl, magnetic items, shirts printed with Puerto Galera designs, some sarong or you can also have some henna too as a remembrance.

Don't forget to flaunt your beautiful tan lines in Manila!

*3 days is enough to experience everything, better if you go there as a group to get cheaper rooms.
